On Thursday 12th December Charity Steward Mike Tullett and Treasurer Barry Rowe from Javea Lodge No 40 presented a cheque for 685€ to Arne from Project 4 All.
These monies were raised from earlier events but this was the first opportunity to meet the team at Project 4 All to present them with the cheque.
The work that Arne and his supporters do in helping homeless people in the region by supplying them with hot meals is truly admirable.
As Mike said, as the weather gets colder and we start celebrating the Christmas festivities, their work is more important than ever.
We are delighted to be assisting their great cause.

Commenting, Worshipful Master John Young said, “Since the tragic events unfolded in Valencia there has rightly been a huge focus on helping the victims of the DANA floods. John continued, “But we didn’t want to forget that, although the situation in Valencia is critical, there are also people in need closer to home and Todos Juntos Jávea do fabulous work in our local community.”
Marion Kenworthy, Secretary of Todos Juntos Jávea was delighted to receive the donation from John Young. She said, “On behalf of everyone at Todos Juntos Jávea, I would like to thank John and all of his colleagues in the Puerto de Xàbia Lodge for the very generous donation of €500.”

Brethren from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Valencia , were very pleased to be able to deliver a large number of donations collected from local lodges at the Costa Nova Masonic Centre to the HELP shop in Javea. These much-needed items will be added to and delivered to those in need who are still suffering in the recent flood-affected areas of Valencia.
It was stated that it was wonderful to see the true spirit of Freemasonry exemplified by such a large number of generous donations, which are still very much needed by those still suffering in the wake of the recent floods.
