14 February 2025, (Valentine’s Night) – a Chinese meal at the Nan Kin Chinses Restaurant in Guardamar, the cost and other details will be circulated in a flyer nearer the date.
30 March 2025 – an Indian meal at the Punjabi Palace Restaurant in Los Montesinos, the cost and other details will be circulated in a flyer nearer the date.

A Night to Remember: Freemasons Ladies Night shines in Denia
On October 5th, Javea 40 hosted yet another unforgettable Ladies Night at the Marriott Hotel in Denia. This glamorous evening, led by Worshipful Master Robin Tillbrook and his wife Teresa, celebrated the invaluable support of the wives and partners who play a vital role in the lodge’s success.
The event was a perfect blend of elegance and entertainment. One hundred and twenty guests were welcomed with a cava reception, accompanied by the lively rhythms of the Poco Loco Steelpan Band, setting the mood for an evening of fun and festivity. As the night progressed, the magic continued—quite literally! Magic Circle member Colin Kenward entertained with his captivating table magic, adding a touch of wonder to the dining experience. To top it all off, guests danced the night away to the vocals of Matt Mason.
In true Javea 40 spirit, the evening wasn’t just about entertainment. Over €1000 was raised for the 2026 Festival and the Javea Autism Association, a cause particularly close to Robin and Teresa’s hearts.
Arenel Deportiva – Annual ‘Carols by Candlelight’
The Worshipful Master and Brethren of Arenal Deportiva Lodge No 65 cordially invite you, partners, and friends to join them in an evening of festive fun and merriment ¨Carols by Candlelight¨
This lovely event will be held on Tuesday the 10th of December at Maxim´s restaurant just outside Moraira. There is a super menu to choose from and we will be accompanied by Abi Fletcher, who will lead us in singing all the seasonal tunes and carols we love so much.

Santa Faz travel back to the swinging 60s
The Santa Faz Lodge held their annual theme night on Saturday 29th of September at the International Club in El Campello. This year’s theme was the swinging sixties and the Brethren, Ladies and guests obviously spent a lot of time and effort in digging out their old clothes from many years ago. Entertainment was supplied by Brother Craig Smith from the San Juan De Espana Lodge who also supported the night with a contingent of Brothers and their good Ladies.
The sixties night was the last social function of the year under the guardianship of our Worshipful Master Ivan Beckett and his good lady Pat. Ivan hands over the mantle of the Lodge to Greg Hustler in October.
The night was also attended by Irena Bodnarec from the charity MABS CANCER SUPORT one of the Santa Faz charities for 2023 – 2024. Irena was presented with a cheque for 2500 Euros which will go towards purchasing two specialist beds for cancer sufferers in our area.

Javea 40’s Race Night
Javea 40 has just held its annual Race Night at Casa de la Pizza, Costa Nova. With over 40 members and sponsors joining in the fun, the event was a resounding success, raising a total of €886.
The funds raised will support the 2026 Festival and the local Javea Autism Association, a cause the Freemasons have supported for several years. The evening was made possible by the generosity of six local small businesses who sponsored the 8 races.
Participants dined and enjoyed placing bets on virtual horse races, plus a pig race, and our WM, Robin Tillbrook, said that he was pleased to have been able to support the 2026 Festival and the local community.
Provincial Garden Party ends with a bang!
On Wednesday 4th September the weather in and around Pedreguer crackled and banged with thunderstorms. But a little weather was not going to stop around 90 brethren, families, and friends having a great time at the annual Provincial Garden Party at the Los Arcos restaurant.
The only change to the schedule was that we held the event in the spacious indoor room provided for us.

Following our usual format the guests bring the food and the theme of dressing the tables and holding the best/worst men’s shirt competition resulted in one of the 2 Oliva LaSafor tables winning a bottle of Cava, while the ‘man with the shirt’ was David Clarke, also of Oliva!
As always with Masonic events a raffle was held with a large selection of prizes which was generously supported providing the evening with an overall 1250€ for the Provincial Masters fund
Entertainment for the evening was provided by a well-known Spanish duet Lucille Blues, with their individual take on Rock & Country music. Gary “Woody” Woodward also entertained us with his singing to get a few of the ladies on the dance floor
.
The evening wound up with everyone stepping outside to watch the fireworks before heading home.
