On Saturday, November 23rd, the Provincial Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Rodney Charles Bignell and part of his executive team participated in the Charity Lunch organized by Hiram Abif Lodge No. 80 of Alicante with the support of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Valencia and Old Tower Lodge No. 49, other Valencian lodges as well as members of The Province of Murcia.
The lunch aimed to raise funds and collect non-perishable food items to help those affected by the recent floods in Valencia. In this aim, it was a resounding success. Almost 4000€ was collected on the day through auctions of memorabilia from the Spanish Double Olympic Medalist in Race Walking, Alvaro Martin, the famous Spanish singer, Daviles de Novelda, donations, and raffles. This money will be added to those generous donations already received, for distribution to those still suffering 
from the DANA floods.
