The Installation Meeting of Puerto de Xàbia Lodge No. 58, held on 13th October 2026 at the Toscamar Dance Café, proved to be a memorable and well-attended occasion, with 30 brethren and visitors present to witness the ceremony.
The Lodge was honoured by the presence of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Michael Anthony Shilan, accompanied by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W. Bro. Yuri Aguilar, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W. Bro. Terry Whitehead, and an escort of Provincial Grand Stewards.
The Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Nick Coates, conducted the Installation Ceremony and duly installed the Master Elect, Bro. Rafe Parker, into the Chair of King Solomon. He was assisted in the ceremony by W. Bro. Tony Hesketh-Field and W. Bro. Malcolm March, whose support helped ensure a dignified and well-executed Installation.
The presentation of the Working Tools was undertaken by:
- Third Degree: Bro. Steve Young
- Second Degree: Bro. Stuart Wall
- First Degree: Bro. Mark Brown
The traditional addresses were delivered with sincerity and distinction by:
- Address to the Worshipful Master: W. Bro. Ray Pease
- Address to the Wardens: W. Bro. Dave Johnson
- Address to the Brethren: W. Bro. John Beavis
Following the close of the meeting, the brethren adjourned to a most enjoyable Festive Board, where all the traditional toasts were duly honoured in a spirit of harmony and fellowship.
A raffle held during the Festive Board raised €295 for good causes. The first prize, a unit at Asociación Unidad Fraternal, was won by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W. Bro. Yuri Aguilar.
The Province congratulates W. Bro. Nick Coates on a successful year in the Chair and extends its best wishes to the new Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Rafe Parker for a happy, productive, and successful year ahead.
