The Santa Faz Lodge held their annual Beach Walk and BBQ on Saturday 15th March with over 80 Lodge members and guests in attendance. The fantastic sum of 2380 Euros was raised for the Lodge’s annual charities. The Worshipful Master Greg Hustler thanked all those who participated with special thanks to our Chefs Nick Carter, Brian Green , Bob Alchin, and Nick Liddicoat and also to the day’s organiser Barry Hovell and Helen Lovell who produced some fantastic cakes.. Not only did the Lodge raise a fantastic sum, but the weather took pity on us so that everyone had an enjoyable day

The Provincial Charity Golf Tournament which takes place on May 29th at the Bonalba Golf Resort and Spa will soon be here.The Tournament Committee have been working hard to ensure that we build on the success of last year’s event. Brother Haakon Erikson, who runs Green Parrot travel group has once again very generously donated a magnificent prize for our draw, which consists of a ¨Golden Ticket¨ voucher which can be redeemed against the cost of 1 week´s 4-star accommodation (6 nights / 7 days) for 2 people at any hotel or Aparthotel in Europe. W. Bro Peter Johnson is very pleased to present Brother István Székely, a member of Santa Faz lodge 48, in an evening of fabulous Piano Recital on Saturday the 12th of April in the auditorium of Espai La Senieta, Moraira. The concert will start at 6:00pm and last approximately 2 hours.
István is a renowned Professor of music at the Katarina Gurska Superior Conservatory in Madrid and Franz List Centre for Special Talents in La Nuncia, so we are in for a wonderful evening of Classical Music featuring pieces by Mozart, Liszt and Debussy.

2025 Provincial Grand Assembly
The 2025 Provincial Grand Assembly was a resounding success, attracting over 180 Brethren and numerous dignitaries from Spain and other countries.
The Assembly adhered to established ceremonial protocols and demonstrated the precision observed in prior Assemblies, with Provincial officers exhibiting exemplary performance.
Let us remember the investiture of the Provincial Officers for the year 2025/2026. Congratulations to those who have been promoted.
The current Worshipful Masters and Entered Apprentices had the great honour of being presented to the Provincial Grand Master.
It was an honour to recognize those brethren with distinguished long service with the presentation of their certificates.
The Provincial Grand Master presented the Mason of the Year award to W. Bro. Peter Johnson and W. Bro. Ian Bullock.
Approximately 130 brethren gathered for the festive board, enjoying excellent food, wine, and most importantly, wonderful company, with the Provincial Grand Master formally recognising our newest member with taking wine with him.
The Provincial Grand Master offers his sincere gratitude to all attendees and eagerly anticipates welcoming everyone again next year.
We would like to remind everyone that the 2025 Provincial Golf Tournament will take place at the Bonalba Golf Club in Mutxamel, Alicante, on Thursday, 29th May.
Once again, Masons and their guests from across the Province of Valencia will gather to navigate the picturesque yet challenging fairways of Bonalba Golf Course.
The excitement is palpable as the returning champions from 2024 – Nigel Parker of the Jávea 40 Lodge and Alex Henderson of the Oliva La Safor 112 Lodge – prepare to defend their title against a strong and competitive field.
Participants will compete for the coveted John Harvey Masonic Memorial Trophy, a tribute to one of the tournament’s founders who passed away just a year after the event was inaugurated.
Beyond the thrill of competition, this tournament is also a heartfelt effort to support charitable causes within the community. Organiser W. Bro. Peter Johnson, the Provincial Grand Charity Steward, emphasised the importance of philanthropy to Freemasons, noting, “At last year’s Golf Tournament, we raised over €10,000 through business sponsorships, contributions from local Masonic Lodges sponsoring individual holes, and the entry fees from all our golfers. This year, we aim to exceed that number, with all proceeds donated to Masonic charities.”
With a blend of spirited competition and community generosity, this event promises to be a memorable day for all involved.
