We would like to remind everyone that the 2025 Provincial Golf Tournament will take place at the Bonalba Golf Club in Mutxamel, Alicante, on Thursday, 29th May.
Once again, Masons and their guests from across the Province of Valencia will gather to navigate the picturesque yet challenging fairways of Bonalba Golf Course.
The excitement is palpable as the returning champions from 2024 – Nigel Parker of the Jávea 40 Lodge and Alex Henderson of the Oliva La Safor 112 Lodge – prepare to defend their title against a strong and competitive field.
Participants will compete for the coveted John Harvey Masonic Memorial Trophy, a tribute to one of the tournament’s founders who passed away just a year after the event was inaugurated.
Beyond the thrill of competition, this tournament is also a heartfelt effort to support charitable causes within the community. Organiser W. Bro. Peter Johnson, the Provincial Grand Charity Steward, emphasised the importance of philanthropy to Freemasons, noting, “At last year’s Golf Tournament, we raised over €10,000 through business sponsorships, contributions from local Masonic Lodges sponsoring individual holes, and the entry fees from all our golfers. This year, we aim to exceed that number, with all proceeds donated to Masonic charities.”
With a blend of spirited competition and community generosity, this event promises to be a memorable day for all involved.
